The ancient concept of the 'Wheel of Fortune' beautifully captures this experience, showing us that our journey is filled with ups and downs. But here's the profound truth: at the center of this ever-spinning wheel is God, constant and unchanging. Psalm 73 invites us to live on two levels - acknowledging the chaos of life's circumstances while anchoring ourselves in God's steadfast presence. We're challenged to find stillness amidst the storm, to cultivate an inner sanctuary where we can always connect with the Divine. This isn't about escaping reality, but about finding a deeper truth that sustains us through every turn of the wheel. As we navigate life's joys and sorrows, can we, like the psalmist, declare 'Truly, God is loving unto Israel' - unto us - no matter where we find ourselves?
